What Happens To Your Rubbish?
When you’ve had a house clearance or rubbish clearance, you might wonder what happens to all the waste we take away.
Firstly, it’s important to know that your rubbish will be disposed of legally. If you use a company who are not licensed, they may simply fly tip the rubbish. Not only is this bad for the environment but if it is traced back to you, you may receive a fine. We are a licensed waste carrier (License Number: CBDU114424) and will provide you with a waste transfer note on pick up. This is the duty of care documentation required for the removal.
Secondly, you might be interested to know where the waste goes. We do our best to recycle as much as we can including wood, cardboard, plastic, metal and rubble. These gets taken to various processing plants where the old items get chipped up and either used in the creation of new products or used as biomass fuel to generate energy. Any other waste that we are unable to recycle ourselves, goes to a commercial disposal facility, who will also sort through the rubbish and recycle as much as possible.
